The Western ABBI-BLUE has a 950 Litre diesel tank and a 160 litre Adblue (DEF) tank in one skid bowser. The ABBI-BLUE is a fully transportable diesel tank which is approved for transport of diesel fuel under the ADR Regulations. The ABBI BLUE is fully bunded steel in steel to ensure environmental compliance with Pollution Prevention Guidelines (PPG2), the Adblue tank is plastic and separated from the diesel by a steel partition. The ABBI Skid Bowsers have larger cabinets than the Transcubes enabling you to store larger pumps and hose reels as necessary. The ABBI bowsers have easy floor access meaning the users do not need to climb on the bowser to use pumping equipment. Also as standard is the manhole access for inner tank inspection and maintenance.
We have a range of pump options for the Western ABBI's including options for Adblue dispensing:
- Diesel 12v pump kit including 4m delivery hose and manual nozzle
- Diesel K2 hand pump kit with 4m delivery hose and manual nozzle
- AdBlue 12v pump kit including 4m hose, flow meter and trigger nozzle
- There are are also other options available, including 24v pumps, 240v pumps, 110v pumps, digital flow meters and filters. Please enquire for details.

Delivery Terms
The delivery of a tank can be confusing as each manufacturer offers a slightly different service and lead time. Please refer to our Delivery Information page. Standard tank deliveries are "kerbside", which means the tank will be delivered to the kerb only and not positioned further. Should you have specific delivery requirements or restrictions, please contact us to discuss.
Tanks over 2,500L — articulated lorry, customer offload
These tanks are delivered on an articulated vehicle (approximately 16.5m long × 2.6m wide × 3m high) which has no offloading on board. It is the customer's responsibility to offload the tank, which may require a telehandler or forklift.
Curtain-sided vehicles are also used, so please note that if there are obstacles or overhanging branches on the road to the delivery site, the driver may refuse to drive to the location due to the risk of damaging the vehicle. Please let us know about any obstructions before delivery so we can arrange alternative transport.
18-tonne tail-lift HGV
This vehicle is roughly the size of the largest bin lorries — approximately 8.2m long × 2.6m wide × 4m high, and often curtain-sided. If there are overhanging branches, these vehicles will not attempt the route, so a smaller vehicle should be requested.
Tanks are lowered to the ground but not positioned, as this is a kerbside delivery. If a smaller vehicle is required, email sales@fueltankshop.co.uk quoting your order number and name.
HIAB delivery
HIAB delivery is available but must be requested, and carries an additional cost. Email sales@fueltankshop.co.uk quoting your order number and name, and we'll come back to you with a price.
Accessories
Most accessories are delivered within 1–3 working days. Certain products and postcodes may take longer — check the product page for current information. If you need them sooner we can sometimes offer a next-day service; please contact us to discuss. If an item is out of stock we'll advise the expected lead time, and you're free to cancel for a full refund.
Returns Information
Customers may return items within 14 calendar days, as set out in section 7 of our Terms & Conditions.
All items must be returned unused. Refunds cannot be issued for used or previously installed items.
Please be aware that returning a tank can be complicated and expensive, so do check you're ordering the correct item — we strongly suggest checking the dimensions carefully before you buy.
How to return an item
- Complete the form on our returns page with details of your order.
- Once your request is approved, we'll issue a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) along with instructions on how and where to return your order, and any costs involved.
- Please do not return any goods without this authorisation. Goods cannot be accepted without a valid RAN.
- Returns are not accepted at our Minehead office. Please wait until we contact you before returning anything.
