Send us a genuine quote for an identical product and we'll do everything we can to match — or beat — it.
Our Price Match Promise is a promise that we will try to match, or beat, any legitimate price for a product you have seen cheaper elsewhere.
Fuel Tank Shop always tries to keep our prices as low as possible, but it's inevitable that someone will try to offer one better. We cannot, and do not, guarantee we can beat all prices — but we will do our very best to try.
Three things we'll need
Send these over by phone, email or the form below and we'll come back to you in writing.
The item and model number
Must be an identical brand and model — a like-for-like comparison.
The price, excluding VAT
Plus details of any delivery charges, so we're comparing the true landed cost.
The supplier's details
Name, address and telephone number. A copy of the written quote is ideal.
Request a price match
Fill in the form and our sales team will review your quote. We'll confirm our price match in writing, so you have it in black and white for when you're ready to order.
Prefer to talk it through? Call us — we're open by 8:30am.
- We check the quoteOur sales team verifies the product is identical and the supplier is a bona fide UK company. Usually within one working day.
- We confirm in writingYou get our matched price by email, so it's in black and white — no need to chase anyone on the phone.
- You order at the matched priceValid on new orders only. Trade account holders can add it straight to their account terms.

The small print
Terms & conditions
- To price-match, we must be satisfied that the products in question are identical — same brand, same model.
- The other retailer must have the identical product in stock or available, priced correctly and accurately.
- Prices are compared excluding delivery charges.
- Prices are compared excluding VAT.
- We do not price-match against special offers, promotions, discount vouchers or product-bundle pricing.
- The promise does not apply to ex-demonstration stock, refurbished products, or products that are not new.
- Price matching is only considered for companies based within the UK. We do not match retailers based, operating, or sourcing the product from outside the UK.
- We only price-match prices or quotations from bona fide companies.
- The promise does not apply to products or goods offered on auction websites.
- Items that have been price-matched are not eligible for additional discounts.
- Price matching is not available on previously placed orders.
- Our price-match promise may be subject to change without notice at any time.
Any decision whether or not to price-match is at the sole discretion of Fuel Tank Shop. We reserve the right to refuse any price-match request, and under no circumstances do we have a legal obligation to price-match.
