Product Overview
The Deso V1230PDD is a 1230 litre plastic bunded diesel dispensing tank designed for secure above-ground storage and convenient on-site dispensing of diesel and compatible HVO fuels. Its vertical configuration and compact footprint make it a practical option for farms, commercial premises, construction sites, workshops and other applications requiring a dedicated fuel storage and dispensing point.
The tank is supplied as a complete dispensing package with a 6 metre delivery hose, automatic shut-off nozzle, 10-micron water and particulate filter, overfill prevention valve, clock-type contents gauge and lockable cabinet door. The standard 230V pump delivers up to 72 lpm, while a 12V 56 lpm pump is also available. A digital flow meter can be selected as an optional upgrade.

Bunded Tank Construction
The Deso V1230PDD is a plastic bunded tank using a "tank within a tank" arrangement. The inner tank acts as the primary storage vessel, while the outer tank provides secondary containment.
In the event of a spill or failure of the inner tank, the outer bund is designed to contain the surplus fuel, helping to reduce the risk of an environmental pollution incident.
Diesel and HVO Compatibility
The V1230PDD is listed for diesel and HVO applications. It is intended for above-ground storage and dispensing of compatible diesel-type fuels.
Fuel compatibility should be confirmed before using the tank with any fuel outside the manufacturer's published specification.
Choice of Pump Options
The V1230PDD can be configured with either a 230V or 12V dispensing pump.
The 230V pump provides a dispensing rate of up to 72 lpm. It is supplied with a 3-pin "caravan style" plug and 1.8 metre power cable, allowing connection to a suitable electrical supply
The 12V pump provides a dispensing rate of up to 56 lpm and is supplied with crocodile clips for connection to a suitable 12V power source.

Delivery and Offloading
Standard tank delivery is kerbside, meaning the tank is delivered to the kerb and is not positioned at the final installation point. The customer is responsible for arranging suitable movement and positioning of the tank after delivery.
HIAB delivery is also available by request at an additional cost.

Delivery Terms
Delivery in 2 to 3 Working Days
The delivery of a tank can be confusing as each manufacturer offers a slightly different service and lead time. Please refer to our Delivery Information page. Standard tank deliveries are "kerbside", which means the tank will be delivered to the kerb only and not positioned further. Should you have specific delivery requirements or restrictions, please contact us to discuss.
Tanks over 2,500L — articulated lorry, customer offload
These tanks are delivered on an articulated vehicle (approximately 16.5m long × 2.6m wide × 3m high) which has no offloading on board. It is the customer's responsibility to offload the tank, which may require a telehandler or forklift.
Curtain-sided vehicles are also used, so please note that if there are obstacles or overhanging branches on the road to the delivery site, the driver may refuse to drive to the location due to the risk of damaging the vehicle. Please let us know about any obstructions before delivery so we can arrange alternative transport.
18-tonne tail-lift HGV
This vehicle is roughly the size of the largest bin lorries — approximately 8.2m long × 2.6m wide × 4m high, and often curtain-sided. If there are overhanging branches, these vehicles will not attempt the route, so a smaller vehicle should be requested.
Tanks are lowered to the ground but not positioned, as this is a kerbside delivery. If a smaller vehicle is required, email sales@fueltankshop.co.uk quoting your order number and name.
HIAB delivery
HIAB delivery is available but must be requested, and carries an additional cost. Email sales@fueltankshop.co.uk quoting your order number and name, and we'll come back to you with a price.
Accessories
Most accessories are delivered within 1–3 working days. Certain products and postcodes may take longer — check the product page for current information. If you need them sooner we can sometimes offer a next-day service; please contact us to discuss. If an item is out of stock we'll advise the expected lead time, and you're free to cancel for a full refund.
Returns Information
Customers may return items within 14 calendar days, as set out in section 7 of our Terms & Conditions.
All items must be returned unused. Refunds cannot be issued for used or previously installed items.
Please be aware that returning a tank can be complicated and expensive, so do check you're ordering the correct item — we strongly suggest checking the dimensions carefully before you buy.
How to return an item
- Complete the form on our returns page with details of your order.
- Once your request is approved, we'll issue a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) along with instructions on how and where to return your order, and any costs involved.
- Please do not return any goods without this authorisation. Goods cannot be accepted without a valid RAN.
- Returns are not accepted at our Minehead office. Please wait until we contact you before returning anything.
