Used to trap and remove contaminants from air, gas, or fluid streams in various industrial and commercial systems. It helps maintain clean and efficient operation by preventing debris from entering sensitive components, thereby ensuring smooth functioning, reducing wear, and prolonging the lifespan of equipment.
This kit is designed for the Mark II Tankmaster; however, if a filter replacement kit is required for a Tankmaster Mark I then you can use this kit by placing a small (2″) cable tie around the tube immediately below the filter to hold this up against the body of the Tankmaster.
Cleaning the filter element to reuse it is not recommended. The cleaning fluid can leave a film over the surfaces of the nylon element, which effectively reduces the size of the holes in the mesh. Although the filter will look clean, the reduction in the size of the holes in the mesh will act in the same way as if the filter was still dirty/clogged.
The ‘O’ ring supplied for going around the bolt at the bottom of the filter housing is tapered on one edge and must be fitted with this tapered edge facing uppermost (i.e. facing towards the filter bowl). This usually compresses into a flat shape so that when this is removed again for servicing the service engineer thinks that he requires a flat washer and has been supplied the wrong part (this is not the case)

The delivery of a tank can be confusing as each manufacturer offers a slightly different service and lead time. Please refer to our Delivery Information page. Standard tank deliveries are "kerbside", which means the tank will be delivered to the kerb only and not positioned further. Should you have specific delivery requirements or restrictions, please contact us to discuss.
Tanks over 2,500L — articulated lorry, customer offload
These tanks are delivered on an articulated vehicle (approximately 16.5m long × 2.6m wide × 3m high) which has no offloading on board. It is the customer's responsibility to offload the tank, which may require a telehandler or forklift.
Curtain-sided vehicles are also used, so please note that if there are obstacles or overhanging branches on the road to the delivery site, the driver may refuse to drive to the location due to the risk of damaging the vehicle. Please let us know about any obstructions before delivery so we can arrange alternative transport.
18-tonne tail-lift HGV
This vehicle is roughly the size of the largest bin lorries — approximately 8.2m long × 2.6m wide × 4m high, and often curtain-sided. If there are overhanging branches, these vehicles will not attempt the route, so a smaller vehicle should be requested.
Tanks are lowered to the ground but not positioned, as this is a kerbside delivery. If a smaller vehicle is required, email sales@fueltankshop.co.uk quoting your order number and name.
HIAB delivery
HIAB delivery is available but must be requested, and carries an additional cost. Email sales@fueltankshop.co.uk quoting your order number and name, and we'll come back to you with a price.

If an item is out of stock we'll advise the expected lead time, and you're free to cancel for a full refund.
Returns Information
Customers may return items within 14 calendar days, as set out in section 7 of our Terms & Conditions.
All items must be returned unused. Refunds cannot be issued for used or previously installed items.
Please be aware that returning a tank can be complicated and expensive, so do check you're ordering the correct item — we strongly suggest checking the dimensions carefully before you buy.
How to return an item
- Complete the form on our returns page with details of your order.
- Once your request is approved, we'll issue a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) along with instructions on how and where to return your order, and any costs involved.
- Please do not return any goods without this authorisation. Goods cannot be accepted without a valid RAN.
- Returns are not accepted at our Minehead office. Please wait until we contact you before returning anything.
