OLE EX2020 Radar Tank Gauge Kit (+/-1mm, 0.2m – 10m)

The OLE EX2020 Radar Zone 2 Tank Gauge is a reliable tank level monitoring system designed for use in hazardous environments where fuel and liquid storage requires ATEX-compliant equipment. Using advanced radar technology, the system measures tank contents without any contact with the stored liquid, providing accurate and dependable level monitoring while reducing maintenance requirements.

Ideal for fuel depots, agricultural installations, industrial sites, and commercial storage facilities, the EX2020 offers a practical solution for applications where safety and simplicity are essential

Key Features

  • ATEX-certified radar tank monitoring system
  • Suitable for Zone 2 hazardous areas
  • Non-contact radar measurement technology
  • No probes or sensors submerged in the liquid
  • Continuous tank level monitoring
  • Clear digital display showing tank contents
  • Suitable for above-ground storage tanks
  • Reduced maintenance compared to traditional probe systems
  • Reliable long-term level monitoring
  • Suitable for a wide range of fuels and liquids

Non-Contact Radar Technology

Unlike conventional tank gauges that use pressure probes or float systems, the EX2020 uses radar signals to measure the distance between the sensor and the liquid surface. The level is then calculated and displayed without any equipment coming into contact with the stored product.

This provides a cleaner, lower-maintenance solution whilst eliminating concerns associated with in-tank probes.

Designed for Hazardous Fuel Installations

The EX2020 is specifically designed for installations where flammable liquids are stored. Its Zone 2 ATEX certification makes it suitable for locations where potentially explosive atmospheres may occasionally occur, providing a safe and dependable monitoring solution for fuel storage applications.

Suitable Liquids

The OLE EX2020 Radar Tank Gauge can be used with a variety of liquids, including:

  • Diesel
  • HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil)
  • Petrol
  • Biodiesel
  • Kerosene
  • AdBlue®
  • DEF
  • Water
  • Antifreeze

Benefits of Radar Tank Gauging

  • No contact with the stored liquid
  • Reduced maintenance requirements
  • No pressure probe to install inside the tank
  • Ideal for difficult-to-access tanks
  • Reliable level monitoring in demanding environments
  • Improved stock visibility
  • Helps reduce manual tank checks

Optional Remote Monitoring

The EX2020 provides local tank level monitoring as standard. For users requiring remote access to tank level information, the gauge can be paired with an OLE Web Logger, allowing tank data to be viewed remotely through a secure cloud-based platform.

Why Choose the OLE T5020 Tank Gauge Kit?

Designed for reliability, accuracy, and ease of use, the OLE T5020 is a trusted solution for monitoring stored liquids across a wide range of industries. If you have any questions on the calibration, please dont hesitate to give us a call.

Delivery Terms

The delivery of a tank can be confusing as each manufacturer offers a slightly different service and lead time. Please refer to our Delivery Information page. Standard tank deliveries are "kerbside", which means the tank will be delivered to the kerb only and not positioned further. Should you have specific delivery requirements or restrictions, please contact us to discuss.

Tanks over 2,500L — articulated lorry, customer offload

These tanks are delivered on an articulated vehicle (approximately 16.5m long × 2.6m wide × 3m high) which has no offloading on board. It is the customer's responsibility to offload the tank, which may require a telehandler or forklift.

Curtain-sided vehicles are also used, so please note that if there are obstacles or overhanging branches on the road to the delivery site, the driver may refuse to drive to the location due to the risk of damaging the vehicle. Please let us know about any obstructions before delivery so we can arrange alternative transport.

18-tonne tail-lift HGV

This vehicle is roughly the size of the largest bin lorries — approximately 8.2m long × 2.6m wide × 4m high, and often curtain-sided. If there are overhanging branches, these vehicles will not attempt the route, so a smaller vehicle should be requested.

Tanks are lowered to the ground but not positioned, as this is a kerbside delivery. If a smaller vehicle is required, email sales@fueltankshop.co.uk quoting your order number and name.

HIAB delivery

HIAB delivery is available but must be requested, and carries an additional cost. Email sales@fueltankshop.co.uk quoting your order number and name, and we'll come back to you with a price.

Accessories

Most accessories are delivered within 1–3 working days. Certain products and postcodes may take longer — check the product page for current information. If you need them sooner we can sometimes offer a next-day service; please contact us to discuss. If an item is out of stock we'll advise the expected lead time, and you're free to cancel for a full refund.

Returns Information

Customers may return items within 14 calendar days, as set out in section 7 of our Terms & Conditions.

All items must be returned unused. Refunds cannot be issued for used or previously installed items.

Please be aware that returning a tank can be complicated and expensive, so do check you're ordering the correct item — we strongly suggest checking the dimensions carefully before you buy.

How to return an item

  • Complete the form on our returns page with details of your order.
  • Once your request is approved, we'll issue a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) along with instructions on how and where to return your order, and any costs involved.
  • Please do not return any goods without this authorisation. Goods cannot be accepted without a valid RAN.
  • Returns are not accepted at our Minehead office. Please wait until we contact you before returning anything.
