Klargester Gamma 2800 Litre Septic Tank - Twin Stage

The Twin Stage Gamma Septic Tanks have an internal partion wall. This makes your tank work even better and fits the Scottish regulation for tank installations.

Kingspan Klargester has developed Gamma as a direct response to market needs – an affordable and reliable septic tank that is easy to install in a range of domestic applications. This Spetic Tank is a suitable capacity for 5 people. Complete with Standard Inlet Invert: 1000mm and Standard Outlet Invert: 1050mm

The Klargester Gamma Septic Tank is manufactured from MDPE which makes it more robust than traditional GRP septic tanks. The Klargester Gamma is ideal for installation where handling of the tank may be problematic.

  • Reduced excavation costs, saving you money
  • Less soil disposal and less backfill material - kinder to the environment
  • Made from MDPE - strong and durable for ultimate reliability
  • Light, watertight and chemically resistant
  • Robust, weather proof for guaranteed durability, giving you value for money

Septic Tanks

A septic tank consists of a two or three chamber system that retains sewage from a property for sufficient time to allow the solids to form into sludge at the base of the tank, where it is partially broken down through anaerobic digestion. The remaining liquid in the tank then overflows from the tank by means of an outlet pipe to a drainage field. Septic Tanks have a 1.0m standard invert depth.

Delivery

All the our Klargester tanks are for delivery by customer offload. This entails the customer to acquire the right manpower and/or machinery to help unload the tank/s from the delivery vehicle.

If you require assistance with offloading, we may be able to offer a tail lift (lowers the tank to the ground) or HIAB (lorry with a mounted crane to winch the tank off the delivery vehicle). Please contact us if this is required for delivery.

Delivery Terms

The delivery of a tank can be confusing as each manufacturer offers a slightly different service and lead time. Please refer to our Delivery Information page. Standard tank deliveries are "kerbside", which means the tank will be delivered to the kerb only and not positioned further. Should you have specific delivery requirements or restrictions, please contact us to discuss.

Tanks over 2,500L — articulated lorry, customer offload

These tanks are delivered on an articulated vehicle (approximately 16.5m long × 2.6m wide × 3m high) which has no offloading on board. It is the customer's responsibility to offload the tank, which may require a telehandler or forklift.

Curtain-sided vehicles are also used, so please note that if there are obstacles or overhanging branches on the road to the delivery site, the driver may refuse to drive to the location due to the risk of damaging the vehicle. Please let us know about any obstructions before delivery so we can arrange alternative transport.

18-tonne tail-lift HGV

This vehicle is roughly the size of the largest bin lorries — approximately 8.2m long × 2.6m wide × 4m high, and often curtain-sided. If there are overhanging branches, these vehicles will not attempt the route, so a smaller vehicle should be requested.

Tanks are lowered to the ground but not positioned, as this is a kerbside delivery. If a smaller vehicle is required, email sales@fueltankshop.co.uk quoting your order number and name.

HIAB delivery

HIAB delivery is available but must be requested, and carries an additional cost. Email sales@fueltankshop.co.uk quoting your order number and name, and we'll come back to you with a price.

Accessories

Most accessories are delivered within 1–3 working days. Certain products and postcodes may take longer — check the product page for current information. If you need them sooner we can sometimes offer a next-day service; please contact us to discuss. If an item is out of stock we'll advise the expected lead time, and you're free to cancel for a full refund.

Returns Information

Customers may return items within 14 calendar days, as set out in section 7 of our Terms & Conditions.

All items must be returned unused. Refunds cannot be issued for used or previously installed items.

Please be aware that returning a tank can be complicated and expensive, so do check you're ordering the correct item — we strongly suggest checking the dimensions carefully before you buy.

How to return an item

  • Complete the form on our returns page with details of your order.
  • Once your request is approved, we'll issue a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) along with instructions on how and where to return your order, and any costs involved.
  • Please do not return any goods without this authorisation. Goods cannot be accepted without a valid RAN.
  • Returns are not accepted at our Minehead office. Please wait until we contact you before returning anything.
