JAB DUC 2 90L Indirect Unvented S/S Cylinder

The JAB DUC 2 90L Indirect Unvented Stainless Steel Cylinder is a high-performance domestic hot water storage cylinder designed to deliver reliable, mains-pressure hot water to taps, showers, and appliances throughout the home.

Constructed from high-grade duplex stainless steel for durability and corrosion resistance, the DUC 2 90 provides long service life with minimal maintenance. Its compact 90-Litre capacity makes it ideal for smaller homes, apartments, and en-suite systems, while the unvented design eliminates the need for a cold-water storage tank - freeing up valuable loft space and providing powerful water pressure at every outlet.

This indirect model is designed to be heated by a gas or oil boiler, with an additional immersion heater connection for backup or off-peak heating.

Designed with installation in mind, allowing most existing airing cupboards to be used. The ideal choice for the replacement of standard copper cylinders.

How it works

  1. Colds Mains Supply: The cylinder takes in cold water directly from the mains supply
  2. Primary Heating: The indirect coil inside the cylinder is heated by your central heating boiler, transferring heat to the stored water
  3. Hot Water Storage: The heated water is stored in the stainless-steel vessel, ready for use
  4. Backup Heating: An immersion heater can be used as an alternative or secondary heat source
  5. Mains Pressure Delivery: Hot water is supplied to outlets at mains pressure, ensuring strong flow rates and consistent temperature.

Delivery Terms

The delivery of a tank can be confusing as each manufacturer offers a slightly different service and lead time. Please refer to our Delivery Information page. Standard tank deliveries are "kerbside", which means the tank will be delivered to the kerb only and not positioned further. Should you have specific delivery requirements or restrictions, please contact us to discuss.

Tanks over 2,500L — articulated lorry, customer offload

These tanks are delivered on an articulated vehicle (approximately 16.5m long × 2.6m wide × 3m high) which has no offloading on board. It is the customer's responsibility to offload the tank, which may require a telehandler or forklift.

Curtain-sided vehicles are also used, so please note that if there are obstacles or overhanging branches on the road to the delivery site, the driver may refuse to drive to the location due to the risk of damaging the vehicle. Please let us know about any obstructions before delivery so we can arrange alternative transport.

18-tonne tail-lift HGV

This vehicle is roughly the size of the largest bin lorries — approximately 8.2m long × 2.6m wide × 4m high, and often curtain-sided. If there are overhanging branches, these vehicles will not attempt the route, so a smaller vehicle should be requested.

Tanks are lowered to the ground but not positioned, as this is a kerbside delivery. If a smaller vehicle is required, email sales@fueltankshop.co.uk quoting your order number and name.

HIAB delivery

HIAB delivery is available but must be requested, and carries an additional cost. Email sales@fueltankshop.co.uk quoting your order number and name, and we'll come back to you with a price.

Accessories

Most accessories are delivered within 1–3 working days. Certain products and postcodes may take longer — check the product page for current information. If you need them sooner we can sometimes offer a next-day service; please contact us to discuss. If an item is out of stock we'll advise the expected lead time, and you're free to cancel for a full refund.

Returns Information

Customers may return items within 14 calendar days, as set out in section 7 of our Terms & Conditions.

All items must be returned unused. Refunds cannot be issued for used or previously installed items.

Please be aware that returning a tank can be complicated and expensive, so do check you're ordering the correct item — we strongly suggest checking the dimensions carefully before you buy.

How to return an item

  • Complete the form on our returns page with details of your order.
  • Once your request is approved, we'll issue a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) along with instructions on how and where to return your order, and any costs involved.
  • Please do not return any goods without this authorisation. Goods cannot be accepted without a valid RAN.
