Description

Aztecs EMPROTEC EHPD 15W-40 Diesel Engine Oil

The EMPROTEC EHPD 15W-40 is a premium mid-ash heavy-duty diesel engine oil engineered to meet the lubrication demands of modern commercial engines - especially those fitted with sensitive emission-control systems.

Built with high-quality base oils and advanced additive technology (including the brand’s Adaptive Molecular technology), it delivers reliable performance, emission compliance and durability in mixed-fleet, on-and off-highway applications.

Recommended Applications

  • Ideal for heavy-duty diesel engines in trucks, buses, coaches agricultural machines and off-highway equipment operating under demanding conditions.
  • Suited for fleets requiring an oil compliant with the latest emissions standards (EURO V/VI / Tier 4i/ 4f / stage 4) and compatible with after-treatment devices.
  • Compatible with mixed-fleet operations (modern and legacy engines) where a robust 15W-40 grade oil is specified or acceptable.
  • Meets a broad range of specifications: ACEA E7/E11, API SN/CK-4, Caterpillar ECF-3, Cummins CES 20086/20081, DAF E9, Mercedes-Benz MB 228.31, MAN M 3775, Renault Trucks RLD-3, Volvo VDS-4.5, IVECO TLS E9 and others.

Key Benefits

  • Enhanced Oxidation & Aeration Resistance: Guards against oil breakdown and foaming under heavy duty, high-temperature service.
  • Optimised Wear & Corrosion Protection: Helps protect vital engine components (cams, bearings, liners) for longer engine life and reduce downtime.
  • Excellent Soot-Dispersant and Deposit-Control Capability: Keep pistons, rings and turbochargers cleaner, enhancing engine efficiency and longevity.
  • Emission-System Compatible: Mid-ash design supports engines with or without after-treatment (DPF, SCR), making it versatile across fleet types.
  • Reliable mixed-fleet solution: Suits both older and newer engines, reducing the need for multiple oil grades in fleet operations.
