V9400BT 9200 Litre Bunded Heating Oil Tank

The Deso V9400BT is a 9,200 litre vertical bunded oil tank designed for large-volume storage of diesel, gas oil, heating oil and HVO. Manufactured in the UK from high-grade polyethylene, the tank combines a primary inner storage tank with an integrated outer bund to provide secondary containment.

With a nominal capacity of 9,200 litres, approximately 2,024 UK gallons, the Deso V9400BT is designed for agricultural, industrial and commercial fuel oil storage applications where a substantial on-site storage capacity is required.

Bunded Tank Construction

The Deso V9400BT is a bunded tank incorporating tank-within-a-tank construction.

The inner tank provides the primary fuel storage, while the outer tank provides secondary containment. This design helps contain fuel in the event of a leak from the primary tank and provides an additional level of protection compared with a single-skin storage tank.

The tank is therefore suited to larger commercial, agricultural and industrial fuel storage installations where bunded storage is required.

Suitable Applications

The Deso V9400BT is designed for high-capacity fuel storage and is suitable for a range of larger-scale applications, including:

  • Agricultural fuel storage
  • Farm fuel storage
  • Commercial heating oil storage
  • Industrial fuel storage
  • Diesel storage
  • Gas oil storage
  • HVO storage
  • Plant and machinery fuel storage
  • Commercial premises
  • Workshops and depots
  • Large-scale heating oil storage
  • Fuel storage for agricultural and industrial operations

Delivery Information

The Deso V9400BT is over 2,500 litres in capacity and is therefore delivered using an articulated vehicle. Fuel Tank Shop states that these vehicles are approximately 16.5m long, 2.6m wide and 3m high and do not have onboard offloading equipment. The customer is responsible for arranging suitable equipment, such as a telehandler or forklift, to offload the tank.

HIAB delivery is available by request and carries an additional charge.

Delivery Terms

Estimated Lead time is 10-14 Working Days

The delivery of a tank can be confusing as each manufacturer offers a slightly different service and lead time. Please refer to our Delivery Information page. Standard tank deliveries are "kerbside", which means the tank will be delivered to the kerb only and not positioned further. Should you have specific delivery requirements or restrictions, please contact us to discuss.

Tanks over 2,500L — articulated lorry, customer offload

These tanks are delivered on an articulated vehicle (approximately 16.5m long × 2.6m wide × 3m high) which has no offloading on board. It is the customer's responsibility to offload the tank, which may require a telehandler or forklift.

Curtain-sided vehicles are also used, so please note that if there are obstacles or overhanging branches on the road to the delivery site, the driver may refuse to drive to the location due to the risk of damaging the vehicle. Please let us know about any obstructions before delivery so we can arrange alternative transport.

18-tonne tail-lift HGV

This vehicle is roughly the size of the largest bin lorries — approximately 8.2m long × 2.6m wide × 4m high, and often curtain-sided. If there are overhanging branches, these vehicles will not attempt the route, so a smaller vehicle should be requested.

Tanks are lowered to the ground but not positioned, as this is a kerbside delivery. If a smaller vehicle is required, email sales@fueltankshop.co.uk quoting your order number and name.

HIAB delivery

HIAB delivery is available but must be requested, and carries an additional cost. Email sales@fueltankshop.co.uk quoting your order number and name, and we'll come back to you with a price.

Accessories

Most accessories are delivered within 1–3 working days. Certain products and postcodes may take longer — check the product page for current information. If you need them sooner we can sometimes offer a next-day service; please contact us to discuss. If an item is out of stock we'll advise the expected lead time, and you're free to cancel for a full refund.

Returns Information

Customers may return items within 14 calendar days, as set out in section 7 of our Terms & Conditions.

All items must be returned unused. Refunds cannot be issued for used or previously installed items.

Please be aware that returning a tank can be complicated and expensive, so do check you're ordering the correct item — we strongly suggest checking the dimensions carefully before you buy.

How to return an item

  • Complete the form on our returns page with details of your order.
  • Once your request is approved, we'll issue a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) along with instructions on how and where to return your order, and any costs involved.
  • Please do not return any goods without this authorisation. Goods cannot be accepted without a valid RAN.
  • Returns are not accepted at our Minehead office. Please wait until we contact you before returning anything.
