Product Overview
The Atlas 2300VFDA is a 2,300 litre vertical bunded diesel dispensing tank designed to provide secure on-site fuel storage and convenient refuelling for vehicles, machinery and equipment. Manufactured from high-grade polyethylene, the double-skinned tank provides an inner storage tank with an integral outer bund for additional containment.
The standard model is supplied with an integral 230V pump, 6-metre delivery hose, automatic shut-off nozzle, 10-micron water and particulate filter, overfill prevention valve and float level gauge. It is suitable for the storage and dispensing of diesel and permitted biodiesel blends within the manufacturer’s stated fuel specification.

Bunded Tank Construction
The Atlas 2300VFDA is a fully bunded tank, using a tank-within-a-tank construction. The inner tank provides the primary fuel storage vessel, while the outer tank provides secondary containment in the event of a leak or spill.
This double-skinned design provides an additional layer of protection for the surrounding area and makes the tank suitable for applications where secure, contained fuel storage is required.
Integrated Diesel Dispensing System
The standard Atlas 2300VFDA is supplied ready for connection to a suitable electrical supply and includes an integral 72 litre-per-minute 230V pump.

We recommend not to book any installation or machinery until the tank has been delivered. We will not be responsible for any additional cost occurred with delayed deliveries.

Delivery Terms
Lead time approx. 15 working days
The delivery of a tank can be confusing as each manufacturer offers a slightly different service and lead time. Please refer to our Delivery Information page. Standard tank deliveries are "kerbside", which means the tank will be delivered to the kerb only and not positioned further. Should you have specific delivery requirements or restrictions, please contact us to discuss.
Tanks over 2,500L — articulated lorry, customer offload
These tanks are delivered on an articulated vehicle (approximately 16.5m long × 2.6m wide × 3m high) which has no offloading on board. It is the customer's responsibility to offload the tank, which may require a telehandler or forklift.
Curtain-sided vehicles are also used, so please note that if there are obstacles or overhanging branches on the road to the delivery site, the driver may refuse to drive to the location due to the risk of damaging the vehicle. Please let us know about any obstructions before delivery so we can arrange alternative transport.
18-tonne tail-lift HGV
This vehicle is roughly the size of the largest bin lorries — approximately 8.2m long × 2.6m wide × 4m high, and often curtain-sided. If there are overhanging branches, these vehicles will not attempt the route, so a smaller vehicle should be requested.
Tanks are lowered to the ground but not positioned, as this is a kerbside delivery. If a smaller vehicle is required, email sales@fueltankshop.co.uk quoting your order number and name.
HIAB delivery
HIAB delivery is available but must be requested, and carries an additional cost. Email sales@fueltankshop.co.uk quoting your order number and name, and we'll come back to you with a price.

Most accessories are delivered within 1–3 working days. Certain products and postcodes may take longer — check the product page for current information. If you need them sooner we can sometimes offer a next-day service; please contact us to discuss. If an item is out of stock we'll advise the expected lead time, and you're free to cancel for a full refund.
Returns Information
Customers may return items within 14 calendar days, as set out in section 7 of our Terms & Conditions.
All items must be returned unused. Refunds cannot be issued for used or previously installed items.
Please be aware that returning a tank can be complicated and expensive, so do check you're ordering the correct item — we strongly suggest checking the dimensions carefully before you buy.
How to return an item
- Complete the form on our returns page with details of your order.
- Once your request is approved, we'll issue a Returns Authorisation Number (RAN) along with instructions on how and where to return your order, and any costs involved.
- Please do not return any goods without this authorisation. Goods cannot be accepted without a valid RAN.
- Returns are not accepted at our Minehead office. Please wait until we contact you before returning anything.
