H1550PDD Bunded Diesel Dispensing Tank
Product Overview
The Deso H1550PDD is a compact 1500 litre bunded diesel dispensing tank designed for secure above-ground storage and controlled dispensing of diesel, gas oil and compatible HVO fuels. The tank is supplied as a complete dispensing package, including a 4 metre delivery hose, automatic shut-off nozzle, 10-micron water and particulate filter, overfill prevention valve, contents gauge, lockable lid and 72 lpm pump. Bunded Tank Construction
The Deso H1550PDD uses a bunded tank-within-a-tank design. The inner tank provides the primary fuel storage vessel, while the outer tank provides secondary containment in the event of a leak or spill.
The tank's compact footprint is achieved using an external pre-galvanised steel frame that supports the inner and outer skins, reducing the need for extensive internal ribbing. The steel framework can also accommodate grapple hooks, providing additional mounting points where required.
Diesel, Gas Oil and HVO Compatibility
The H1550PDD is suitable for fuel oil (A2) and gas oil/diesel, including biofuel such as HVO, as defined by BS EN 2869, BS EN 590 and BS EN 15940.
It is not suitable for storing kerosene. Fuel compatibility should always be confirmed before filling the tank with any fuel or alternative fuel product.
Choice of Pump Options
The tank is available with a choice of pump configurations to suit different power requirements.
The 240V pump is the standard configuration currently offered on the product page. It is supplied with a 3-pin "caravan style" plug and 1.8 metre power cable.
A 12V pump option is available for applications where low-voltage power is preferred. The 12V configuration is supplied with crocodile clips for connection to a suitable power source.
The 12V option may have a different lead time from the standard configuration.
Suitable Applications
The Deso H1550PDD can be used for a range of applications requiring on-site storage and dispensing of diesel or compatible fuels, including:
- Agricultural machinery refuelling
- Commercial vehicle fleets
- Construction equipment
- Plant and machinery
- Groundcare equipment
- Farms and agricultural businesses
- Workshops and industrial sites
- Contractors requiring an on-site diesel supply
- HVO-compatible vehicle and machinery applications
The tank is intended for above-ground storage and dispensing of compatible fuels. Kerosene must not be stored in this tank.
Delivery and Offloading
Standard tank deliveries are kerbside deliveries, meaning the tank is delivered to the kerb and is not positioned at its final installation point. The customer is responsible for arranging suitable manoeuvring and positioning of the tank.
HIAB delivery is available by request at additional cost where a suitable lifting solution is required.

Delivery Terms
IN STOCK - Delivery in 5-7 Working Days
The delivery of a tank can be confusing as each manufacturer offers a slightly different service and lead time. Please refer to our Delivery Information page. Standard tank deliveries are "kerbside", which means the tank will be delivered to the kerb only and not positioned further. Should you have specific delivery requirements or restrictions, please contact us to discuss.
Tanks over 2,500L — articulated lorry, customer offload
These tanks are delivered on an articulated vehicle (approximately 16.5m long × 2.6m wide × 3m high) which has no offloading on board. It is the customer's responsibility to offload the tank, which may require a telehandler or forklift.
Curtain-sided vehicles are also used, so please note that if there are obstacles or overhanging branches on the road to the delivery site, the driver may refuse to drive to the location due to the risk of damaging the vehicle. Please let us know about any obstructions before delivery so we can arrange alternative transport.
18-tonne tail-lift HGV
This vehicle is roughly the size of the largest bin lorries — approximately 8.2m long × 2.6m wide × 4m high, and often curtain-sided. If there are overhanging branches, these vehicles will not attempt the route, so a smaller vehicle should be requested.
Tanks are lowered to the ground but not positioned, as this is a kerbside delivery. If a smaller vehicle is required, email sales@fueltankshop.co.uk quoting your order number and name.
HIAB delivery
HIAB delivery is available but must be requested, and carries an additional cost. Email sales@fueltankshop.co.uk quoting your order number and name, and we'll come back to you with a price.
Accessories
Most accessories are delivered within 1–3 working days. Certain products and postcodes may take longer — check the product page for current information. If you need them sooner we can sometimes offer a next-day service; please contact us to discuss. If an item is out of stock we'll advise the expected lead time, and you're free to cancel for a full refund.
Returns Information
Customers may return items within 14 calendar days, as set out in section 7 of our Terms & Conditions.
All items must be returned unused. Refunds cannot be issued for used or previously installed items.
Please be aware that returning a tank can be complicated and expensive, so do check you're ordering the correct item — we strongly suggest checking the dimensions carefully before you buy.
